Chronic pain in the lower extremities includes pain in the hip, knee, or other areas. An X-ray-guided block allows for clear visualization of the anesthetic and/or steroid injection site, which immediately provides pain relief. This is a therapeutic and diagnostic method that can be used for arthritis, arthrosis of the lower extremity joints, phantom pain, and other causes of pain.

The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis and can be performed under local anesthesia.
