A pediatric orthopedic traumatologist injects botulinum toxin (Botox or Dysport) into dystonic and spastic muscles under ultrasound (ultrasound) control. In children under 10 years of age, the procedure is performed under general anesthesia. The effect of the injections lasts for 6-12 months, depending on the individual characteristics of the child.
