Indications for use:

• Disorders of phenylalanine metabolism in the blood.
• High levels of phenylalanine in the blood (due to a deficiency of the enzyme phenylalanine-4-monooxygenase).

Preparation for the study:

• Fast, exclude fatty foods
• For infants: take a sample 3-4 hours after feeding
