Description of the service
After biopsy specimens of bowel tumors have been collected, they should be placed in a container with fixative solution to prevent drying and autolysis. The container should be tightly closed, making sure that it does not leak and that the specimen is completely immersed in the solution and does not stick to the lid or walls.
