Bacteriological culture of prostate secretion is a laboratory test aimed at detecting pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, as well as yeast-like fungi. The test helps to determine the etiologic factor of inflammatory diseases of the urogenital tract and to assess the sensitivity of the identified microorganisms to antibacterial and antifungal drugs.
