This is a method of hardware assessment of the fetal condition based on the simultaneous measurement and evaluation of fetal heart rate, fetal movements and uterine contractility.
It is performed on a state-of-the-art fetal monitor with modern criteria for assessing fetal status in an outpatient setting according to Davis-Redman.
Indications for the examination:
Procedure duration: 30-60 minutes, performed by a prenatal diagnostic assistant or nurse. The duration is increased to 60 minutes in case of increased activity, pathological or questionable fetal conditions.
There are no contraindications.
The patient should empty the bladder.
Women who are not served by the programs at the medical center have the opportunity to consult an obstetrician-gynecologist based on the results.
