Bacteriological seeding of ejaculate/sperm is a laboratory examination of an ejaculate sample aimed at identifying pathogens of a nonspecific inflammatory process. A comprehensive examination allows the identification of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, as well as fungi of the genus Candida spp. In addition to detecting microorganisms, their sensitivity to antibiotics and antimycotics is determined.
