An oncologist-dermatologist is a specialist working in the area of diagnostics and treatment of oncological skin diseases and also the skin conditions that require oncological alertness. He will perform a check-up with a dermatoscope, anticipate the threat of the development of cancer and give explanations on prevention and treatment approach.

• PCR for urogenital infections (not all dermatovenerologists can do this as there may be no corresponding conditions in the room);
• skin biopsy (of neoformations) to verify the diagnosis.
