This is a medical examination during which the doctor assesses the health status of an adult patient and determines the feasibility of vaccination. The examination is conducted in accordance with:
- Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine №595 dated 16.09.2011 "On the procedure for conducting preventive vaccinations in Ukraine and quality control and circulation of medical immunobiological preparations";
- Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine №2070 dated 11.10.2019 "On amendments to the vaccination schedule in Ukraine and the list of medical contraindications to preventive vaccinations."
Stages of the medical examination:
- Filling out informed consent for examination and vaccination.
- Collection of life history, considering chronic diseases, allergic reactions, as well as assessment of the response to previous vaccinations and the course of the post-vaccination period.
- Assessment of any existing complaints (if necessary).
- Thermometry (body temperature measurement).
- Examination of the skin and mucous membranes.
- Clinical examination of the organs and systems of the body (if necessary).
- Issuance of a medical opinion by the doctor on the day of vaccination regarding the patient's health status: If no diseases are detected, the status is marked as "healthy." If signs of illness are present, the diagnosis is specified with an appropriate entry in the medical documentation. The vaccination record is entered into form №063/o (issued to the patient upon request, prepared separately). Note: Based on the results of this examination, the doctor decides on the feasibility of administering the vaccine on the day of the visit.
- If any contraindications or acute conditions are detected, vaccination may be postponed.
