The doctor provides medical care, promotes adherence to treatment, and helps patients fight addiction. During the consultation, side effects of medications are monitored and measures are taken to prevent them. The doctor forms motivation to fight addiction by disseminating medical knowledge and preventing the abuse of alcohol, drugs, toxic substances and tobacco, following the principles of medical deontology.

- Sleep disturbances, decreased performance.
- Injection marks, nosebleeds, weight loss.
- Alcohol or drug addiction.
- Regular use of alcohol or drugs.
- Inability to control the dose.
- Psychological or physical dependence.
- Withdrawal syndrome (abstinence).
- Anxiety, depression, insomnia.
- Seizures, delirium (delirium tremens).
- Poisoning with alcohol, drugs, psychotropic substances.
- Psychotic states, delusions, hallucinations.
- Suspicion of addiction in a loved one.
- Aggression, conflicts, antisocial behavior.
- Suspicion of psychoactive substance use.
