A consultation with a narcologist is aimed at the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with alcoholism, drug addiction and substance abuse. The doctor provides medical care, promotes adherence to treatment, and helps patients fight addiction. During the consultation, side effects of medications are monitored and measures are taken to prevent them. The doctor forms motivation to fight addiction by disseminating medical knowledge and preventing the abuse of alcohol, drugs, toxic substances and tobacco, following the principles of medical deontology.

• Injection marks, nosebleeds, weight loss.

• Regular use of alcohol or drugs.

• Withdrawal syndrome (abstinence).
• Anxiety, depression, insomnia.
• Seizures, delirium (delirium tremens).
• Poisoning with alcohol, drugs, psychotropic substances.
• Psychotic states, delusions, hallucinations.
• Suspicion of addiction in a loved one.
• Aggression, conflicts, antisocial behavior.
• Suspicion of psychoactive substance use.
