During the study, a magnetic resonance scan of the ankle joint is performed to assess the condition of the tissues and identify possible pathologies.
Indications for the study:
Duration of the procedure: 20 minutes. The study is conducted by a radiologist and an X-ray technician.
No special preparation is required, but it is worth following the following recommendations:
Contraindications:
If the patient has an MR-compatible cardiac device, the presence of a cardiologist is required during the examination.
For a scheduled visit, be at the reception of the department 15 minutes before the examination.
The examination results (description, film on demand, recording on optical media) are issued after 6 hours. In complex cases, the period may be extended to 24 hours.
