The orthokeratologist selects and fits individually designed orthokeratology lenses for the patient. He or she assesses the fit of the lenses on the cornea, checks visual acuity and determines the residual refraction. After that, the doctor provides training on how to properly put on and take off the night lenses, how to care for them, change the solution and perform other necessary actions. At the end of the appointment, the lenses are ultrasonically cleaned.
