The orthokeratologist selects and fits individually designed orthokeratology lenses for the patient. He or she assesses their fit on the cornea, checks visual acuity and determines residual refraction. After that, the doctor provides training on how to properly put on and take off the night lenses, how to care for them on a daily basis, change the solution and perform other necessary actions. At the end of the visit, the lenses are ultrasonically cleaned.
