Ortokin therapy is an innovative painless method of restoring joints and the spine by injection. The method has proven its effectiveness, and in some cases allows you to avoid possible endoprosthesis (replacement of the joint surgically). To restore the joint or part of the spine, pre-treated plasma of the patient is injected into their cavity, enriched with cytokines, the function of which is to activate the process of cell regeneration.
The procedure allows you to prevent the destruction of joints, stop inflammatory processes and relieve pain due to the protective functions of the body. The effect of such manipulation lasts up to two years. In total, 5 injections are performed per course, 1-2 times a week. The injection of the drug is carried out under ultrasound control.
Indications:
- injuries of the articular and musculoskeletal system;
- osteoarthritis;
- protrusions of the MPD.
Contraindications:
- acute infectious diseases;
- infectious process of the skin at the site of the future injection;
- pregnancy and lactation.
Duration of the procedure:
- primary blood sampling lasts 10-15 minutes;
- conditioning in a thermostat at a temperature of 37 ℃ takes 8 hours;
- 10 minutes of centrifugation at 3000g;
- first injection - 15 minutes.
The remaining 4 syringes are placed in a freezer (-20 ℃) for a period of up to 9 months. Before each administration of the drug, 1 syringe is taken and placed in a thermostat for 15 minutes (+ 37 ℃), after which a repeated injection is performed.
