After childbirth, a woman's body requires comprehensive restoration.
This is because the natural processes of maternal organism recovery after the period of pregnancy, for many reasons, are not always optimal. As a result, both in the first months after childbirth and in the later period, a woman may face a whole range of complaints related to the musculoskeletal system.
Posture disorders, pain in the lumbar, thoracic, cervical spine, joint pain, pelvic area discomfort, headaches, muscle diastasis - these are the most common complaints that mothers address to a doctor with.
The main task of physical rehabilitation in the postpartum period is to help the woman return to a full life as soon as possible.
Physical recovery is recommended to start within 4-6 weeks after childbirth.
The rehabilitation protocol lasts on average 12 sessions. In terms of time, this takes approximately from one to two months.
Number of sessions: 12
Session frequency: 2–3 times a week
Course duration: 1–2 months
The patient's sessions are conducted individually with an experienced physical therapist.
Rehabilitation is an active process, so during the recovery period, we additionally create a set of exercises for the patient for independent sessions at home to support the effect after completing the course.
