Computed tomography of teeth (CT of teeth)
Computer tomography is a layer-by-layer radiodiagnostic assessment of the patient's dentition that allows to receive accurate data on the bone tissue state and its density. This information is indispensable for dental implantation planning, it is also used for planning and diagnostics of development anomalies, injuries, fistulas, tumors, various inflammatory diseases.
Computer tomography at Dobrobut clinic chain is carried out with HYPERION X9 3D compact digital tomograph (MyRay, Cefla).
The equipment provides the possibility to perform the cone-beam computerized 3D tomography (CBCT) when one scanner displays many high-resolution data (75 micron).
Expanding the boundaries of our practical work with diagnostic images, we use high frequency 3D panoramic X-ray that allows to obtain the whole range of perfect high resolution images:
- orthogonal tooth projections,
- occlusal X-ray pictures,
- 3D images with the possibility of the preview of maxillo-temporal joints and maxillary sinuses.
