This is noninvasive (conservative) treatment of congenital pectum excavatum in children.
Before treatment examination is required to rule out contraindications, in particular clotting time, bleeding duration, platelets; lateral chest X-ray, ECG and echocardiography. A doctor performs fit testing to select a vacuum bell, determines the level of negative pressure in the device and explains the rules and coaches skills to handle the vacuum bell. At the next visits a doctor corrects the vacuum bell application site and a degree of its exhaustion.
Indications: congenital pectum excavatum I-II in a child.
Service duration (tentatively) is two years. A child needs supervision by a surgeon once a month in the first three months, then once in three months and once in 6 months in a year (8-10 times in total).
Age restrictions: children after 4 years to 14 years.
