Videoesophagogastroduodenoscopy (VEGDSk) is a highly informative instrumental research method for examining the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum using a special optical device - an endoscope. The video endoscope consists of a video camera, a lighting device, and a channel into which working instruments are introduced to stop bleeding or take a biopsy, while the image of the mucous membrane is displayed on the monitor screen.
