A furuncle of the nose and ear canal is an inflammatory and infectious lesion of the hair follicle in the nasal cavity (vestibule of the nose) or the ear canal. It is almost impossible to independently remove a boil with such a localization, and it is dangerous to develop severe complications.

The first stage (infiltration) - the boil area is dense, painful, hot to the touch, sleep worsens, appetite decreases. At the first stage, complex drug treatment is required with the use of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, antihistamines.
The second stage (purulent-necrotic) - a rod with a purulent head appears and pus accumulates in the boil cavity for 4 days. This stage requires surgical treatment.
The last is the stage of healing and scar formation.

How is the opening of the boil carried out?

Before the operation, a comprehensive examination of the patient is carried out.
