Chest deformity

Chest deformity in children is a congenital pathology that involves a change in appearance, namely the size, volume or shape of the chest. Such changes affect both the musculoskeletal function of the chest and the development and functional function of internal organs, especially the respiratory and cardiac organs. In most cases, this can lead to irreversible changes in the heart, blood vessels and lungs in adulthood, when the effectiveness of treatment will be very low. Therefore, in case of visual signs of chest deformity in a child, it is necessary to consult a pediatric surgeon for advice and appropriate treatment.

Treatment
