The in-patient department of Borys Clinic is a multidisciplinary multifunctional unit equipped according to the advanced European standards.
All wards in the department are designed to accommodate one patient and have upscale equipment. The wards have systems for individual monitoring of patient’s vital functions: pulse, blood pressure (non-invasive and invasive methods), body temperature, hemoglobin oxygen saturation by pulse oximetry, ECG monitoring.
It has 59 beds, including 14 for intensive care and 10 for children.
The in-patient department is fully equipped for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, mechanical lung ventilation in different modes. Modern methods of intensive care are used to treat patients. Pharmacotherapy is selected individually for each patient regarding the latest developments in pharmacology.
The in-patient department works around the clock and can simultaneously admit patients with various diseases. There are wards for neurosurgical, surgical, traumatological, pulmonological, cardiological, endocrinological, gynecological, urological and other patients
