FSME-IMMUN vaccine (0.5 ml) is indicated for the active (preventive) tick-borne encephalitis immunization of people over 16 years of age.
FSME-IMMUN Junior vaccine (0.25 ml) is indicated for the active (preventive) tick-borne encephalitis immunization of children from 1 to 15 years of age.

The primary vaccination schedule is the same for all individuals and consists of three vaccinations with the FSME-IMMUN vaccine (0.5 ml) for people over 16 years of age or the FSME-IMMUN Junior (0.25 ml) for children from 1 to 15 years of age.
Routine and emergency vaccination schedules are different. The scheme is prescribed by the doctor who sent a person for the vaccination. Emergency vaccination should be started as soon as possible after the exposure to the tick.
Vaccine administration method: intramuscularly
If necessary, the vaccine can be administered subcutaneously (for people with blood clotting disorders or anticoagulant preventive care).
