Taking of a free connective tissue graft
During the procedure an incision of the mucous membrane in the palate or maxillary tuber area under local anesthesia and taking of a connective tissue graft that is further moved to the recipient area are performed.
Duration of the service: 30–45 minutes, performed by a surgeon dentist of a dental unit.
The procedure has no age restrictions. A patient should undergo a preliminary check-up by a surgeon dentist.
Indications for the procedure
Indications for the procedure:
- thin biotype of the mucous membrane, root recession, healing abutment placement.
Сontraindications for the procedure
Local contraindications:
- gingival inflammation;
- dental root caries in the surgical site;
- herpetic diseases of the buccal mucous membrane.
General contraindications:
- cardiovascular diseases (pre-myocardial infarction and the period of 3–6 months after a myocardial infarction, hypertensive disease in the period of crisis);
- blood diseases;
- mental illnesses during the periods of acute exacerbation.
Cost of the procedure
The cost includes the doctor’s work in the process of the surgery, medications and expendable materials necessary for the intervention. Anesthesia, suturation and expendable materials are paid additionally.
