Dobrobut with the support Raiffeisen Bank perforns free surgeries on 10 ukrainians who lost limbs

A team of trauma surgeons at Dobrobut Medical Network will perform 10 reconstructive plastic surgeries on patients who were injured in the war and need prosthetics. The surgeries were made possible thanks to funding in the amount of UAH 550 thousand received by the Dobrobut Foundation from Raiffeisen Bank as part of the Ready for Prosthetics program.

According to The Wall Street Journal, over 1.5 years of full-scale war, about 50,000 Ukrainians have been disabled, losing at least one of their limbs. After amputation, many patients develop neuromas (nerve tumors), osteophytes (bone protrusions), and scars. All of this makes prosthetics impossible and requires additional surgical intervention - remputation or stump correction.

Military or civilians who lost a limb as a result of hostilities can receive surgical care under the Ready for Prosthetics project. To apply for treatment, you need to fill out a form on the Dobrobut Foundation website.
