Dobrobut and Blood Agents Organize a Major Blood Drive

On March 11 and 13, open blood donation events will take place at Dobrobut diagnostic and treatment centers in Kyiv. On these days, anyone can donate blood and its components for the needs of Ukrainian medical facilities, helping treat patients and wounded military personnel and civilians.

The event is organized by the Dobrobut medical network together with Blood Agents, the Kyiv Regional Blood Center, the Armed Forces Blood Center, and with the support of the healthy snack brand FIZI, the coffee company Mad Heads, and the craft bakery Bakehouse.

This is already the third joint initiative by Dobrobut and Blood Agents. In the fall of 2025, 120 people participated in an open donation, donating 54 liters of blood. These reserves were enough to meet the needs of nearly 360 patients.

According to WHO estimates, about 1% of the population should be donors to ensure a stable blood supply. In Ukraine, this figure is much lower — approximately 11 donors per 1,000 people. Since the start of the full-scale war, the demand for donor blood has increased by 60%, while only about a third of donors remain regular donors. This is not enough for the blood system to function stably without shortages.

Anyone over 18 years old, without contraindications for donation and weighing at least 50 kg, can become a donor.

Blood can be donated at Dobrobut multidisciplinary hospitals from 9:00 to 13:00:

A passport is required.
