Diagnostics in pulmonology (Diagnostics of lung diseases)

Laboratory diagnostics implies the examination of patient’s biologic fluids and allows a pulmonologist to receive the information on occurrence and severity of inflammatory processes, to reveal the pathogenic agents of infectious diseases and to determine their antibiotic sensitivity.

Among the methods of laboratory diagnostics used by pulmonologists of the Dobrobut medical network:

• clinical blood and urine analysis,
• examination of sputum and tracheobronchial discharge,
• microbiological and histopathological examination of the samples.
