Cardiotocography
Foetal cardiotocography is a modern diagnostic technique that allows to reveal morphological and functional features of the development of the foetal heart. Cardiotocography of pregnant women is performed in the following cases:

Cardiotocography for pregnant women is performed transabdominally, a woman lies on a couch on her back. In general, echocardiotocography has no differences with routine ultrasound as for the procedure. The procedure lasts 25–30 minutes.
At early gestational age transvaginal way of examination is possible, in this case the sensor is introduced through vagina.
