The first joint educational event for pediatric doctors took place in Kyiv. It was organized by specialists of the “Dobrobut” medical network and the National Children’s Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdyt.” The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and became a practical continuation of cooperation between two leading medical institutions — public and private.

The conference focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and multidisciplinary management of children with respiratory, infectious, and surgical conditions. The main idea of the meeting was to provide doctors with a space for open exchange of experience, ideas, and joint solutions to complex clinical cases.

During the event, participants discussed real cases from the pediatric practice of doctors from “Dobrobut” and “Okhmatdyt.” Topics included the management of severe pneumonia, complications of acute tonsillitis, diarrheal syndrome in acute intestinal infections, abdominal pain and bloating, recurrent urinary tract infections, specifics of NSAID use in pediatrics, sleep disorders in children, and neonatal respiratory problems.

“Cooperation between public and private medical institutions has a long-term effect, as it directly improves treatment outcomes. I sincerely congratulate ‘Okhmatdyt’ and ‘Dobrobut’ on this step and am confident that we will continue working together for the health of children”, emphasized Valeriia Sorochan, Acting Director of the Department of Medical Services of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
