The leveling of a cusp by removing it with a special tool is performed during the procedure under local anesthesia.
Duration of the service: 5–10 minutes, performed by a surgeon dentist of a dental unit.
The procedure has no age restrictions. A patient should undergo a preliminary check-up by a surgeon dentist.
Indications for the procedure
Indications for the procedure:
- a bothering bony prominence in the extracted tooth area.
Сontraindications for the procedure
Local contraindications:
- herpetic diseases of the buccal mucous membrane.
General contraindications:
- cardiovascular diseases (pre-myocardial infarction and the period of 3–6 months after a myocardial infarction, hypertensive disease in the period of crisis);
- blood diseases;
- mental illnesses during the periods of acute exacerbation.
Cost of the procedure
The cost includes the doctor’s work in the process of the surgery, medications and expendable materials necessary for the intervention. Anesthesia is paid additionally.
