ADOS-2 - for the presence of autism spectrum disorders for children and adults
The technique is recommended for use in children and adults of all ages with suspected autism spectrum disorders (ASD). ADOS-2 is a comprehensive, semi-structured methodology that consists of a set of materials with tasks that can be performed to determine the presence of autism spectrum disorders.
Testing according to the ADOS-2 method takes place according to a specific scenario, which is selected depending on the child's age and his level of speeking proficiency. Performing tasks according to the selected scenario allows you to observe the reactions, as well as social and communicative behavior during various activities.
ADOS-2 is 5 modules, each of which corresponds to a certain age, as well as the level of speech development:
Each patient is diagnosed according to a module that corresponds to his level of speech development. To complete the tasks, an interactive game for teenagers and adults is used - a conversation and an interview.
