Endoscopic diagnosis of the ENT organs should be made regularly

Endoscopic examination of the nasal cavity with assessment of its lateral wall, choana and nasopharynx is a very important procedure, as most inflammatory diseases of the middle ear, paranasal sinuses and even deeper airways are of rhinogenic origin.


Currently the endoscope is the optimal tool for careful assessment of mucous membranes or anatomic features that may affect the pathogenesis of the disease. Therefore, accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment prescription is possible only with the use of an endoscope.

Indication:

  • adenoids;
  • chronic adenoiditis;
  • chronic adenotonsillitis;
  • hypertrophy of the tonsils;
  • chronic rhinitis;
  • acute sinusitis;
  • chronic sinusitis;
  • polyposis sinusitis;
  • curvature of the nasal septum;
  • ear canal dysfunction;
  • secretory otitis media;
  • chronic otitis media.

The service can be provided during a consultation with an otorhinolaryngologist to make (confirm) the diagnosis, determine the indications and contraindications for surgery on the lymphopharyngeal ring or nasal cavity (including rhinoseptoplasty). It can also be used to monitor the treatment of diseases of the ENT organs.
