Puncture biopsy of the breast under mammography navigation

The procedure in Ukraine is performed under local anesthesia. This manipulation is minimally traumatic and is performed under the control of specialized stereotaxic mammography, which ensures an accurate fit in the desired analyzed sector. After the examination, a slight hematoma and soreness may persist for some time, but this condition does not require treatment.

Benefits of stereotactic breast biopsy over surgical:

accuracy of manipulation;
low risk of complications;
the possibility of taking a tissue sample from micro-foci;
absence of scars and n / operational scars.
