Chairside teeth whitening, 2 jaws (Beyond USA lamp)
The teeth whitening procedure is performed by a dental therapist after initial consultation, professional oral care and full mouth debridement.
Duration of the service: 30 minutes, performed by a dental therapist of a dental unit.
The procedure requires preparation. A patient needs a full mouth debridement and a photographic protocol. The service is provided for the patients older than 18 years.
Indications for the procedure
Indications for the procedure are as follows:
- change of teeth color.
Сontraindications for the procedure
Contraindications for whitening:
- age restrictions (not for children and adolescents);
- pregnancy and lactation;
- allergy to whitening components;
- taking of certain medications (tretinoin, doxycycline, hydrochlorotiaside, ciprofloxacin, etc.);
- hypertonia, oncological diseases, endocrine diseases.
Local contraindications:
- dental fillings, caries, dental crowns, restorations in the whitening areas;
- wide pulp chamber;
- teeth hypersensibility;
- increased abrasion of tooth enamel;
- acute stages of parodontitis and diseases of the buccal mucous membrane and oral cavity;
- maxillo-temporal joint diseases that restrict the opening of the mouth.
Cost of the procedure
The cost includes the doctor’s work in the process of the surgery, medications and expendable materials necessary for the intervention. Anesthesia is paid additionally (if required).
