This examination method allows assessing the condition of blood vessels, their walls and gleams with simultaneous visualization of the Doppler spectrum of a blood stream.
There are no absolute contraindications to Dopplerography. Relative (temporary) contraindications may include a severe general condition of a patient or other reasons for which the patient cannot lie down. For a child this may be hyperactivity reactions and psycho-emotional disorders when it is impossible to position a sensor on the vessel to be examined.
This technique is completely harmless to the patient and is very informative in the early stages of pathological processes as it allows timely diagnosing a disease and prescribing treatment. Vascular examination is a painless diagnosis method without side effects, radiation exposure and contraindications. It is advisable to receive approval from a neurologist to guarantee complete efficiency of the diagnosis technique.
