The Cardiac Surgery Center (CSC) in Kyiv created at the Dobrobut MC for children and adults in Solomenka Community provides surgical care to adults and children with cardiovascular diseases. The CSC recruited high level specialists - cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists and resuscitators with extensive practical experience. They are masters of the latest cardiac surgery techniques and use most advanced medical equipment, which allows them to perform the whole range of heart surgery.

Diagnostics
Cardiologists of the Dobrobut MC is equipped with advanced diagnostic devices needed for making diagnosis and determining optimal treatment tactics:

- minimal risk of heart surgery. Since December 2016, the CSC has performed more than 1,100 cardiac surgeries, in particular complex multicomponent ones, with a lethality rate of 0.6%, which is five times less than the average in Ukraine;
- 80% of all heart operations are minimally invasive, without incision of the sternum, through the intercostal access of 5-7 cm. This is the highest percentage among cardiac surgery centers in Europe. All isolated coronary artery bypass grafting operations, operations on the mitral, aortic, tricuspid valves and aorta, removal of cardiac tumors, closure of atrial and ventricular septal defects, surgical repair of Fallot's tetrad are performed by minimally invasive method;
- The Dobrobut CSC is an expert center for mitral valve plastic surgery. More than 70 operations with minimally invasive mitral valve repair are performed annually (according to the European recommendations, the annual number of operations should be at least 50 to maintain the expert level).
